in partnership with UNO Architects, this iconic mixed-use development in Tirana blends international design with deep cultural roots. Rising at the intersection of the New Boulevard and Central Park, the project creates a vibrant link between city life, innovative architecture, and local heritage.
Celebrating a New Urban Identity in Albania
At the center of the festival stood Tirana itself – not as a backdrop, but as a protagonist. Albanian artisans contributed a massive 66 m² hand-woven textile, embroidered with 20 years of urban history.
130 ceramic installations represented a new visual language: where traditional Albanian iconography met contemporary design, telling a story of transformation.
This collective energy positioned Albania as a rising voice in Europe’s cultural and architectural conversation.
Inspired by Ibrahim Kodra – Art as a Design Language
The warm, earthy tones of the interiors are inspired by “Composition in Pink,” a painting by Albanian master Ibrahim Kodra. These palettes create a calming atmosphere while reflecting national pride. By integrating art into public space, Tirana Boulevard adds emotion and identity to the experience of everyday living.
Urban Room – Where Tradition Meets Technology
One of the most visually powerful spaces is the Urban Room – an open atrium with perforated panels and aluminum details that reinterpret traditional Albanian carpet motifs. A symbol of cultural continuity, it bridges the past with the present through architectural storytelling.
